Commissioned work.The Hydra is a medium firesupport and harrassing machine. Though i'm still not completely sold on the aesthetics of the MML's this guy came out pretty slick.

Seeing a Light PPC, 2 MML-5s and an SRM-4 (Unknown if standard or streak)
Most likely fast, 96 kph min with what I believe are jumpjets on the legs and rear torso. For a harasser mech it is well armed, both for its role and the possibility for a straight up fight.

This based off someone's frankenmech minature?
Some of those things look like pieces of other mechs, and the whole thing has a vague similarity to the anubis.
Pretty awesome, though.

Not really based off anything. But when you've drawn machines for a while some of the parts will seem to repeat. Either though "that's just the right quasi-engineering for it", or just plain auto-pilot drawing.

Yeah I guess that's bound to happen eventually; I was just wondering since I've seen a number of commissions where someone makes a mini using parts from their scrap bin than asks someone to draw it, so parts look to be off other mechs because they are.

Either that thing is movin' really fast... or its falling on its face after being tripped during its trip attempt! it looks loke a mech version of Kaptin Zagstruck wiv dem legs. Love it. I'm assuming its armament is: 2x MML-5s (torso); ER Medium Laser or Light PPC (Right Arm); A Streak SRM-4 Or dual SRM-2s (centre torso); wiv plenty of jumpjets, it say at least 4. Correct?
P.S.: Paint it red to get more zip out of it! WAAGHHHHHH!
