I'd really like to know how you manage to draw these thing so well in perspective. I'm already having trouble doing a flat representation.

Mostly I'd say it's a product from sketching them out initially, and using that as the basis for a final digital drawing. I find it far easier to keep the whole vehicle in my mental frame that way and keep all the parts heading in the "same direction".
That being said, I often double check said efforts once going into finishing and make corrections as i go. When starting more directly in a digital format there's nothing wrong with laying out some 3D guide grids, they help tons as well.
Of course, i don't claim 100% correct perspective and will fudge when i can. Sometimes it will often help the look of the final piece. Especially when doin warped or fish-eye perspectives.
