One of the most widely produced ships designed after the fall of the Star League the Fox Class with over 20 ships built was designed to carry a large number of DropShips and escort them to the surface, fighting its way through opposing Assault DropShips and ward off other WarShips. Unlike older SLDF corvettes who were built for patrol duties and tended to be lightly armed and protected the Fox was far better protected and had a mixture of lasers and missiles to deal with ships its size whilst a battery of Mech-scale weapons provided anti-fighter defences.
I really didn't like the old Fox's art - cfw.sarna.net/wiki/images/2/2f… - It looked like a shuttle cock or deflated football (a round one, not an American hand-egg) so I asked the AMAZING Matt Plog to save her from herself and this is the result! Hope you folks like!

The fox class looks like a colander with a tissue paper parachute thingy. Also there appears to no room for dropship. The old guys who drew up starships really should have stuck to mechs.

150% agreed, the art of TRO-3058 didn't leave much either though, all the Mech's in it need proper artwork done of 'em.
