"There's no way i'm gonna find my way back home from this place..."Acrylics and paint markers on a big canvas - cant remember the dimensions but it was damn juicy..
Wasn't sure about what category to put it - thought i'd try this one and see if it gets seen/appreciated more (yes i'm a bit of an attention whore)

I used to be kinda scared of using bright(ish) colours.. not sure why - i just didn't like them, but i'm getting a bit more comfortable with using them.. I can fully understand! lol

Are you thinning up your paints to get those drips, or just using straight acrylics? I've been experimenting with different paint thinners myself lately

I was using straight acrylics - but the brush that I was using was just really wet.. what paint thinners have you been trying out then? Any tips or advice at all?

Oh I've been trying everything from water to glycerin. Adding some gum arabic made my paint kinda funky, I liked it
I should make a little table of different thinners and scan it!

what kind of paintmarkers do u use?
the ones i use for canvas aren't that great... and by the looks of it u use some decent ones..

Not really - The black lines were done with a Posca paintmarker, the white with a tippex pen, and the rest was acrylics and brushes... Pretty budget stuff.. I'd love to be able to afford a load of good paintmarkers - but they're really expensive..

yeh i kno man... thats exactly what i use myself (tipex, black markers) paintbrushes in Clarks (Bond Street) are liuke £5 each... i only got black/white/pink, but the white is pretty crappy...
