Description
Update: When I made this I didn't realize I was starting in the middle of things. Stayed tuned for Part OneCurious about what I ended up doing to correct the error of my wrongly created first time biscornu? Well, with my nifty new camera and some patience I show you moment by moment how to "fix" some issues I had.
It's too bad I didn't have the step by step pictures of how I messed up to begin with!
Now you can see just how easy it really is. Don't be afraid to try now!

You are welcome, I still have to show the starting part, this was just one that shows how I fixed what I messed up. How you start the whip stitch is just as important or more so since it lines everything up

A biscornu is a small, 8-sided, stuffed ornamental pincushion from a French adjective, meaning skewed, quirky or irregular. I've been asked quite a bit lately and I always laugh because what it comes down to is a that it is a really pretty pin cushion

For beginners starting from scratch, I used this fabulous (picture loaded!) tutorial for my first try. [link] It also has lots of links to free patterns and stuff, well worth bookmarking.
And your first biscornu is lovely, btw.

THAT is what I should have been looking at to begin with! Thank you for sharing that. I'm still going to do a quick tutorial from start to where the current tutorial starts so everyone can see the beginning portion, but I will certainly link that link in the description section. Thank you!

You are welcome, it doesn't have where to start sewing the top and bottom together so I will have to do an entire beginning to end which will probably help more than this one did

Thank you! The link I provided had pictures but some of them were blurry, so I figured some clear shots of what I was doing would be lovely. I'm so glad you like the tutorial. Pictures make me happy.

The cross stitch takes no time at all, and honestly, it really is one of those INSTANT GRATIFICATION projects. Like a little kit you buy and do in two hours. The end result tho is something gorgeous. I think I may have gotten a few of my girls here interested and ready to try it! See what I mean??? Strangely addictive
