I'd also like to take a moment to point out the large inconsistency of the fact THAT SHE WOULD BE THE ONLY PONY THIS WOULD EVEN APPLY TO!

Inky/Mince Meat/Marble didn't have one... Maud is the only one of Pinkie's sisters to have a confirmed cutie mark. I think you either have her confused with Maud or are confusing fanart for canon.

Well "Mince Meat" was one of the names they had considered (though Faust doesn't seem to like it either... twitter.com/Fyre_flye/status/3… ), but Marble is the only known actual canonical name, but it's of dubious canonicity at present. Also there is no fanon cutie mark for her. There's a clear difference between headcanon and fanon. One people who run those idiotic wikias need to learn.

I wouldn't say they look nothing alike, and I do sort of agree with MLPConcord, and I do think it's highly unlikely that they are the same person, but still, people can think that they're the same if they want to (I don't) and it hasn't been proven either way. I have points for both sides of the argument such as NOBODY has the same hairstyle throughout their entire lifetime(I used to walk around with a curly poofy mess on my head when I was, like, 5 and now I straighten it all the time.) and the obvious fact that THE NAMES ARE DIFFERENT! HELLO! But you don't need to shoot everyone down like that.

Well sometimes ponies change with age. When I was born my hair was Pitch black and I had blue eyes, now I have brown hair and eyes. Most kittens and puppies are born with a different appearance than there adult form, like all kittens have blue eyes and Dalmatian pups are born spotless.
But that's just my opinion. People have the right to there own opinions.

well I guess ponies grow and change a little, kind of like horse. when their younger they tend to be darker but become lighter when they grow. But yes I know Octavia probably isn't pinkies sister and I mean shes got a british accent

Well, Pinkie's mane is different from when she was a filly. The eyes aren't THAT different, but I can see the difference.
The body color is diffrent as well, I agree with you on that.
As far as her name, she could have gotten it changed. That's a thing in Equestia, right?

Even if there is magic in that universe, there's still a rhyme and reason to it. Case in point:

Right, your point is valid, but with one of my points, I took it from a non-canon point of view. They both ony really appeared in one episoade. That said, consistentsy is rather difficult with keeping the mane color and eye color exactly the same. Now, I never agreed or disagreed with the fact that Inky and Octavia are not th same ponies, I actually, more or less, agree. I was just bringing up some flaws in the argument presented.

While I am well aware the animators are prone to making color mistakes (I.e. Apple Fritter's yellow haired counterpart who apparently is now a different pony), however I don't think they ever do that with one-off characters.
Additionally I am 99.99% certain the inconsistencies only apply to manes, cutie marks, freckles and wings. NEVER coat color.

Basicly, he was trying to make the point that characters that make a quick apprience for one episoade, and return in another won't be too consistent. Inky made one apprience, if I'm not mistaking, same with Octavia.

It's not even a valid point.
Them only appearing once makes it remain pure conjecture as there'd still no solid proof. The fact the sisters didn't appear in Trixie's flashback makes it remain this way for the time being.
This comparison is the only evidence we have, and the coat color is more than enough to disprove the connection.

The area I got the 'only in one episoade' thing from was that if they attempted to make a filly version of Octavia, consistency may have been off, so the coat and eye color may have been slightly off. Also, I would just like to say I agree with the fact that they may not be the same person, I was just bringing up a few flaws I saw in the argument.
