Yep, she is.  And always WILL be, I think.

And this is just MY opinion, you understand, but I'M thinking that, underneath it all, she's very lonely, and WANTS to make friends, but she afraid to.  I mean, in that ONE panel of that one page (can't remember just WHICH one...shame on me), you can TELL that she remembers her friendship with the other girls from before, when they were all still ponies.  But then she (they) LOST all that, and she's afraid to let NEW friends into her life, because she might lose them again, so better to NOT make any, so she won't get hurt again.  Better safe, than sorry, in her mind.

But I can tell, just from her attitude in this, that she's holding back, simply for THAT very reason.  "I don't make any friends, I don't lose 'em, I don't get hurt again.  Simple as that."

Right, or wrong?

Like I said, though, that's just MY take on AJ's attitude in this toward making friends with the other girls.

maybe it's me, but Haze looks like that kind of guy, a dragon with an agend. he may have powers, but maybe he wants only him to rule the world, not Luna or Discord. or maybe he's a failsafe Discord has for his plans.

Probably the same or similar thing he wanted from RD.

He didn't manage to get RD because Fluttershy convinced the others to go rescue RD because the others decided to help rescue her and clear things about Fluttershy. AJ does not have any significant bonds with any of them yet (at least none that she is willing to admit) so my guess is he will be trying to do the same thing with AJ - AJ does not have any known close friends (yet) so he's probably betting that nobody will be coming for her any time soon. Then again, telling her that she's the bearer of Honesty off-the-bat seems to be an odd place to start with since that technically confirms that she should be going with the other girls... sounds like the last thing to say if you want to pry people apart.

Yes! I've been waiting for this! I loved it! The fight between Rainbow and the other girl (can't remember her name) was SO awesome!

I'm really wondering when and how they'll save Rainbow and recruit her. I can't wait for the next update!

Well, 2014 ISN'T really all THAT far away now.  (Like what, a week?  (Jan. 1st being next Wednesday.))

Listening to "It Has To Be This Way" from Metal Gear Rising Revengeance somehow works well with this. Then again, it does well with most epic fight scenes!
