I don’t know why i like doing these memes, but here it is ! So follow the numbers.

1- Saint Seiya : this show was one of my principal influence for a very long time. The one to blame for my armor fetish.
2- Rockman / Megaman : I chose a picture from ZX, but I prefer the concept arts from Zero series. But the oldest game pictures are the second cause of my immoderate love for armors ^^.
3- Mechas : I always wanted to draw mechas, from the first time I saw Macross. Years later came Gundam, ZOE and Super Robot Wars (classy Weissritter chosen for the meme)
4- Mark Gibbons/Warhammer 40.000 : Well, didn’t found the pic I wanted… This “dark science fantasy” universe was really something when I discovered it, and I worshipped (well it still the case though) Gibbon’s art for his sense of detail and contrast.
5- DBZ : to be honest I always found the show quite boring, but it was a influence at a time. Not very much now, though.
6- Olivier Ledroit :
7- Medieval Age/King Arthur and stuff/John Howe : 3 in 1, sorry for that, but these three are bonded. I was a fan of the grailquest gamebooks too (seriously, a talking sword which suffers from arachnophobia, WTF), and the french edition covers was made by Howe. His way if painting metal is…well, the pic says all, I think.
8- Kazushi hagiwara/Bastard!! : the slowest mangaka ever…but I was really impressed by some of his works.
9- Angels/Demons : to be honest, I don’t remember if I like 8 because of 9 or if I like 9 because of 8, but this is something that really inspire me a lot… and on a more trivial matter, characters with wings are sooo badass (except Butterflaizen, of course) ! Pic by Gustave Doré.
10- Luis Royo : women, swords, tattoos…
11- Ayami Kojima : it’s a shame that such an artist have only a little square for her, but fore some reason, what I take from her art doesn’t blend very well with my actual style, I think.
12- Wen-M : well, we’re on Da so I assume you saw his stuff ?
13- M@ (Mathias Verhasselt) : the one who gave me a great interest into speedpainting. Too bad, my “speed” is very slow.
14- Sandara : no comment
15- Shirogane Usagi : an artist on pixiv. I like the rough but detailed but simple style.
16- Edobox : Pixiv again. I’m really digging his way of painting and his use of colors. I could have granted him two squares, but…no more place !
