Still playing with the heroine of my comic Phénice with an interesting exercise : trying slightly different body types and see what happens and how it can change the character. If you're stuck up with your character design, I recommend trying that from time to time (plus it's fun).

I'd say slender fits her better for her fighting style, because looking at her armor, I could say that agility is much more important to her then strength.

I did these variants because I thought maybe I could make this character's design evolve a little in the future, but I didn't really planned to do that for another character and it would be a little artificial to me is there was no real purpose behinf it. However, never say never, maybe I will do it again, because it's interesting and I may have similar choices in the future...

I actually saw this picture that was a jab at armour like that. The girl was wearing a battlekini and the chestplate was lined with arrows while a guy in full-body armour had an arrow in his eye.
Remember: they aim for the goods.

She's beautiful! I would make her armor A BIT more covered if she was my OC, but hey, in ANY CASE Phenice is a beauty! (although the bottom breasts exposure is a good tease for foes to get closer and then get sliced by her spear.) I really like her athlete form. and the frame of her dashing with her spear reminds me of WHY I love the role of warrior! GREAT JOB MAXA! ♥

With that kind of weapon she will be better with Athletic version. Spear and other pole related weapons are heavy weapon and need more strength to use.

The practice of different body times certainly does make for a great experiment and helps to get a feel for the character in development. Often times, I do struggle with determining the height of my OC as occasionally, I depict him looking shorter or taller, depending on his pose, or even his size in relation to other characters. But this makes for a great visual example of reference.
Phenice is a visually appealing character. The color red is a great and ideal color of attraction, which suits her extremely well. Nicely done.

Thank you! Yeah, size relations are bloody important, especially if you're doing comics. Phenice already have pretty well established design so that's why these type are still pretty close from each others.
