Description
I had to use my BIG art pad for this one. This time I featured Maximum and Fang in my tutorials.

So To make the wings proportional with the body height; this model was actually just scaled, but if you want to officially do it, it's more of a matter with experimenting with length until you feel that the measurements are compatible enough. I never came up with a formula.

So for Max, I used the description from the BOOK (stick with the book here, people). She's 5'8'' with a wingspan of about 13ft.
Fang.....Max described his height as being 4 inches taller than herself. Her eyes were level with his shoulder, so I tried my best to meet that description.
(I didn't color in their wings because I out of that color.....*sigh...Oy frickin vey)
BTW: Human avian females hate wearing bras and hardly ever do, since the clothing gets in the way of flexible wing movement.
The other side features the muscle of the torso for a Human Avian, the Horizontal flight and what a feather less wing looks like.

Human Avians are horizontal fliers, like most birds. The above view of the naked wing shows how wide it is, but it's also flat. Wings aren't so bulky with huge muscle. This would be VERY inconvenient for the mutant. All the muscle is lean and very sturdy and powerful. The muscle is not layered on top of the "human" muscle, but instead intertwined and sewn with it. This makes the mutant MUCH more aerodynamic.
