Description Fenway Park and Prudential Tower
Boston, Massachusetts

As a lifelong Baltimore Orioles fan, I'm conflicted posting any image portraying any American League rival in a positive light.  I have always despised the Boston Red Sox (even more than the New York Yankees), but I have always loved Fenway Park.  How can any true baseball fan not love Fenway?

Shot from the relatively-new upper level seating of the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in the US.
The seating area has become known as the "Monster Seats" because they are behind the 37 foot high (11.2m) wall in left field, known as "The Green Monster."  The numbers on the signs are for the Sections of the Monster Seat level of Fenway.
I'm reluctantly posting this under Architecture-Exterior, rather than Sports, where I believe it really belongs. . .

Thanks Steve!  All of the things that I hated about Fenway, many years ago when I was in college in New England, have been fixed now.  I can't believe that +/- 20 years ago they were considering tearing down Fenway, and replacing it.  I feared that the "replacement" of Yankee Stadium would have resuscitated that discussion.  Thankfully, it has not.

Yes, that is the 2nd tallest building in Boston.  I went to a reception there last week.  Soon you'll see photos from the top of that building.  But it's a secret.

With the way the Boston Red Sox are playing, they should be in Horror!!!
Thanks, Marina!

Yes, I knew that sports isn't really your thing. But I'm enjoying this, because Boston is arch-enemy of Baltimore (my team), and we are in first place, and Boston is in last place!

Yes, I even captured an image of the team standings that I'm using as my Webcam for right now.
