Baltimore does not seem to be the easiest place to live lately, I just read there have been more murders so far this year in Baltimore than NYC, a city 13 times as big.

Oh, believe me, it's crazy. Fortunately (depending on your perspective) most of that is confined to a few, predictable portions of the city. But yes, Baltimore has more murders than whole segments of the US combined. . .

Clever... however the way the dude on the right's fingers framed the little sign behind him made me squint to read the word I thought he was drawing the viewer's attention to.

I guess I'm indifferent I don't see the point in the riots they don't prove or solve anything..if it's a racial issue well acting like violent thugs only makes it worse..if it's not a racial issue then this still makes everyone look bad...why do people have to always complain it's racists it's 2015 Jeesh lol plenty of whites, Hispanics, asian, etc die everyday but they're not put under a microscope. .great photographs on this series btw

The "riot," such as it was, was a very small part of what happened in Baltimore last week. What the peaceful protesters were "complaining" about all week had more to do with police brutality in general. But it was also about the disparities in who tends more often to be victims of police brutality, as in the instance in North Charleston, SC a few weeks ago. . .
