The whole film will be about 2 min 30 sec, my second year final.
Right this moment at 3/28/08 evening 10:47 pm I am still coloring my scenes. lol
Process:
Animated on paper with pencil, scanned into photoshop to color, then compose it in After Effects.
PS: The eagle's movement is not realistic, it's done for a match cut scene in Sc 26.
I wish I have the time to make it more realistic, but that's if I am ONLY doing the eagle for the whole film, and that's not going to happen right now. I will have to wait for a future project for that.

Barely noticeable the pencil work. And the animation is fluid.
True a shame not too realistic, but some people don't even bother noticing some details at times.

The animation was beautiful. I commented about it there, too, but I'm not sure if it went through, so...
It's hard to decide about the movement without the music, but looking at your eagle, to me it rised kinda fast. In nature, when observing eagles, you notice that they are very big and strong birds and it takes time for them to flip their wings or move themselves, which makes them look slower compared to other birds. They are fast, true, but not when rising or flying - the power of their hunt is actually in their mass and steadyness instead of in their fast movement. If to search comparing material from animation world, Brother Bears ahd very nice eagle movement in it.
I hope I don't sound very bold in this.

I completely understand what you are saying, I studied plenty of eagle stuff, and yes, a lot of Brother Bear, but adding those would be out of my current time limit right now that's why I left it sort of in an exaggerated form of animation.
I know it's not realistic, but it's not really meant to be. It's done for a match cut scene before this one.
If I wanted to make it realistic, it won't be a 2 min film that will be completed in 3 months, it will be a 30 second film instead. lol~

Also, this was 24 frames too right? One more question: Did you zoom out the flight through the drawing itself, or did you do that through After Effects?

Animation paper, but you could really do it with computer print out paper if you wanted to with a tracing light table. 
I just did it on paper because I like the softness that comes with the pencil.
It's 30 frames per second due to the music I will be going along with.
The zoom is created by the drawing, no camera work here.
