Description
Here we have the typical sidearms, that were used in The great war. An astute viewer may ask "Where is the M1911?", well I focused on those, that caught my attention the most. I might do couple more, faithful recreation of firearm designs is fun. Although I can say that revolvers are a bit pain to draw, with all their barrels and cylinders etc., compared to, say an automatic pistol, which is mostly square. I should note that these are drawn by hand, so there might be some deviations from reality in terms of proportions, but that's okay.Related content

Due to its firing system, the Nagant M1895 is the only revolver in the world that can be fitted with a suppressor.

Oh yes, the gas seal. I've read that before, but I just wonder what would even be the point of doing that.

I think the gas seal was for increasing the muzzle speed of the bullet.
Also, since a revolver doesn't eject an empty case after firing, a Nagant M1895 fitted with a suppressor would produce less noise than a suppressed semi-automatic pistol.

Steyr was always trying to be ahead of the curve, even if the Hahn looked goofy it sure did the job.
