In it's current state it's essentially a butchered stock launcher with charged shot and inability to destroy buildings effectively. Not to mention slower reload speed (only affects reloading the first shot though).
But it's a fun weapon to mess around with.

Remember that charged shot can turn off the sentry for a few seconds. Β It can be useful for your team, especially if there are some sentries standing together. And of course, the infinite ammo.

Stock + Uber will always be better. I'll prefer said sentries blown up for good rather than disabled.

I'm not talking that Cow Mangler 5000 is the best. It's just pretty good. (IMO, the worst one is the Liberty Launcher, really.)
But you're right. With stock you can reach any goals.

I was saying, that cow mangler is not a viable option in a situation you've just mentioned. That's all.
I think the Liberty Launcher is tied with the Air Strike. They're both terrible.

My favorite are the stock launcher and direct hit.

The first is the best, and not one has topped it yet. Though depending on preference you might prefer the original or the direct hit, since one shotting people is too fun.

Stock (and subsequently the original, since it's just a reskin) is definitely the most reliable. Direct hit is amazing against buildings and people at point blank.

The beggars is excellent at a chokepoint, such as on hoodoo, but inferior on more open maps like upward.
The liberty launcher used to be okay but is just garbage now.
And I have no real opinion on the cow mangler, as the only time i ever use it is when messing about trying to charge shot while using the directors vision so it looks like a kamehameha.
