how come his eyes are visible when he's a shadow or whatever?

because hes a representation of eyesopres psychosis in some ways , he dosent have eyes because shes an eyesore or so she believes but when hes a shadow he becomes more basic less complex and basically he dosent have any of his taste or heat pits or smell in that form so needs something so he can survey surrondings for himself and eyesore , his eyes are flat and have that dizzy swirl making them empty looking because even though he needs eyes in that form eyesore cant stand others looking at her so his eyes have to look blank un staring XD
