Description So I did the info pages for the back of my comic but forgot to upload them!

so here they are

the comic has been sent away for print so if all goes well I should have a printed issue in hand soon!

these pages are meant to look like information on the characters that would be stored on something like a report sheet or computer data base.

I will try and include these ion every other issue alternating with fan art pages but with each issue they will get updated on information and image.

ah yes finally you now all know that blank isn't a pure white lab rat hes actually a champagne self: [link]

whilst shale is a blue self: [link]

I desperately want a pair of rats, but neither of my parents like rodents and they come up with stupid excuses to keep me from buying them. Like, that they stink to much. I've talked to a lot of rat owners and they say they don't stink if they're taken care of. And that if they escaped they would wreck the house. Which isn't really true because they are dependent on their masters and would return if they were lonely, as they are very social animals.

I'd love a pair of blues, but in Alaska they only allow albinos or just mostly white rats. (I don't get that at all)

yeah your parents seem stuck on the stereotypes,
rats can also learn there names so you could call them if they went missing.
I know my rats when i was younger escaped twice and I woke up with one of them at the head of my bed.

and ben likes to get under the bed but if you call him enough (unless hes avoiding getting put back in his cage) he'll come, also food usually works always. though i'll admit my rat has chewed a hole in my wall and my windowsill but I sort of let them have a lot of freedom when i first got them now they are restricted to the bed, sofa ad sometimes floor with supervision.

wow really, that's weird? I could understand wild rats but blues and such are only found in pets anyway so its not liek they would survive in the wild well?

oh well white rats are just the same one of the girls i had as a kid was a white rat they are also less prone to respiratory infections because of genetics i have heard anyway.

also yeah they aren't smelly, well no more smelly than any other pet I mean look at dogs they are super smelly but people love them, guinea pigs and rabbits too

if you have any other pet you can use that as an argument I suppose I mean rats groom themselves more than cats and can be litter trained too!

Yes, rats are amazing. They're more intelligent than your average great ape, I've heard. I'm still working on convincing my parents. THEY CANNOT WIN. oh and is it true that girls are easier to care for if you are a beginner at owning rats?

yup ^^ only animal that has passed tests to prove they show empathy too (even though we all know that's because no ones bothered to test many other animals on it)

hmmm I dunno about that, males are more lazy than females and tend to scent mark things, but they also chew less also you cant introduce males to males latter in life as easy as you can females
though both genders live fine together if siblings

(boy boys fight sometimes but never hurt each other)

males are also claimed to be more smelly though I don't think so but males also don't suffer from the tumours females have high risk of
and the only way to lower the chance of tumours in females is to get them spayed

its really just preference because you get bad males and bad females too (usually if bought from a pet shop because they aren't handled much)

females are certainly more active while males like to laze around and be petted

I guess females will give you attention constantly while males will want you to give them attention constantly

Ah. I suppose that makes sense.

...

I can't decide. I personally want two males (I want to call them Stan and D-Angelo XD) But smell is a prob for my parents... and I can't handle medical bills if a rat gets a tumor that has to be removed... I'll figure it out.

well yu an litter train rats but its best to do it when you first get them...that would reduce the smell a ton sadly I didn't know that ti'll my boys were a year old and its really too late now haha

but i guess I still got lucky because they never mess outside there cage

but i can't deny they are smelly though...

one of the two females I owned died of a tumor the other I don't know as we just found her dead one morning

my other girl had to be put down because of the tumor which at the time I was a kid and didn't know there was surgery to fix it, but it wasn't up to me.

but yeah spaying females reduces the risk an awful lot though it would add the cost up...
