To the naked eye this would seem to be another delapidated abandoned building on the outskirts of town, but to young Sera's Victoria it was more beautiful then the local Party Hall or the Chairmans house. Upon it's walls was old propaganda poster.

Besides Lilly's house it was her haven between school and farm work. It was her window to reminise on the past and view her glorious future. One day that would be her; a proud soldier defending the Oceania.

And today she attempted to drown out disappointment. Seras had finally gotten enough courage to bring Lilly here to play. Sera's hoped that maybe her special place get rid of Lilly's doubts about the party, she could make Lillly good. Sera's was prepared for Lilly to be bored and disinterested, but Seras did not expect her angry. Lilly shouted and screamed at Seras to wake up. Lilly had was always prone to wrong think and teetered on the edge of thought crime, but today she actually might have crossed it. Lilly ranted and cursed, barely catching herself before insulting the Party and maybe even Big Brother Himself. Finally Lilly trudged back into town sobbing, leaving Seras all alone.

Seras didn't agree with almost anything Lilly thought, but there was something wrong with the poster. The poster was calling to fight another country, a country she always thought of was an ally. She always reasoned that maybe it was because they had liberated in the past, but the museum said they had never been at war with them.

It didnt matter anyway. She couldnt wait to meet the Inner Party members from London. She had even heard there was a thinkpol officer among them.

If she could just get their attention... she could become a party member. She would finally be free of farmwork. Be free of the cold nights and rationed food. Be free of the corrupt chairman and his goons. She would be free of boring old Cheddar. She would be free of being a prole.

She would join the Spys and the Anti Sex League. When she was 18 she would join the military. She would fight across the far wilderness and hellish battlefields. She would lead her comrads through daring adventures while doging death at every turn while and saving the innocent. Maybe she would even help turn the tide. Maybe she would be among those to liberate the tyranny across the sea.

And, when she finally fell, it would be an act so valiant it would be on the front page of the times the Times. She could see it now 'Seras Victoria Hero of Oceanian'...

Little did Seras know her name would soon be on the Times, and 'The Little Devil of Cheddar' would carry more infamy than Goldstein.
