omg this sucks so much, I'm sorry..and pardon my english *3* I hope you understand
some people asked about how I make the sky 8D so I made this little tutorial^^
as you can see it's very simple and I believe anyone could do it <3
these are the type of clouds I used on this pictures:

Um, I'm kind of new to using Paint Tool SAI *coughjustdownloadeditcough* but I've been wondering, if anyone has any idea on how to create a gradient, could they please tell me? I really want to try making a sky~ but, I must say, This tutorial, an absolutely AMAZING help.

if you have other programs such as photoshop, you can use bucket tool to make gradient sky. but you can always use SAI too 8D just blend the colors using water tool. make sure you adjust the opacity below 50%

have a question! (if you don't mind... ^_^
how about if you want to draw the character with that sky as background?
do you add the character later on (in SAI) with the sequence like this
doing the base of sky color in painter/PSD-->finish it at SAI-->open layer and start draw the characterin same file-->finish.
or like this...
finish the sky BG at SAI-->draw character at SAI (file, separately)-->then combine it just like you add texture (based like your texture tutorial)
sorry if kinda annoying. i frequently confused when dealing with any digital method
