Description
I was searching for crying men references and turned a crying Jensen Ackles into Cullen. It’s a pencil sketch I colored very quickly. About 45mn.
This is just practicing. I don’t mean he’s going to cry in the game and don’t especially wish it.

Well it's merely a portrait, even a part of a portrait, based on a reference (Jensen Ackles), so it doesn't take a long time to draw the lines. 
Then, digital coloring is very practical, especially the shades and lights effects with special layers. With traditional means it would have taken me much much longer.

Ah, that would make sense then. I don't have much experience in digital coloring when it comes to portraits. Anything remotely realistic I've done with pencils only. All my colored stuff stays mostly on the cartoony side xD

I literally teared up when I saw this. Amazing work, not just on the shading, but on the expression as well. That single tear really intensifies the restraint he is maintaining not to break. Poor Cullen..

despite the tear, the sadness is contained, which makes the expression more intense, imo. That's why I wanted to draw it.
