I think that Fractal art is absolutely amazing. I've been playing around with Apophysis (?) for ages, and I just can't get the hang of it. I'm not very good at Fractal art. Is there a tutorial any where, because to be able to make some thing as amazing as this piece would be fantastic.

there are quite a few, the best resource is the *Apophysis group. Flip through the journals and you should find a resource journal with everything you would need to get started.

Sorry if this seems off topic...I was once tested for a brain tumor (didn't have one). They hooked a lot of electrodes to my head and turned various parts of my bain on and off. This reminds me of some of the patterns I saw! Very cool!

I am glad they found nothing. Ever closes your eye then pushed on it with your hand. You can get some really cool neon things appearing.

I like the pseudo-symmetry. It looks intentional . . . I know of a couple techniques that would work to produce the effect:

a) Have a set of "almost symmetry" transforms ready to apply or script into the flame.

b) Apply a symmetry, then mutate slightly it without preserving symmetry.

Just wondered if you were doing either of those, or have another technique?
