Description
The second companion to my Medea tritypch of sorts.Actaeon was the unfortunate bugger who got caught sneaking a peek at Artemis and ended up with antlers and nothing to look forward to but the gnashing of hounds' teeth. o__o A cautionary tale for future peeping toms is there ever was one.
Pencil, gold paint pen, gel pen, Tria markers and Photoshop.

yet another so-beautiful-it-hurts piece. your use of design and detail still kill me every time. and it's more than that -- it's his somber expression, the threads woven through his antlers and the arrows through his torso, the strange, twisted composition of her winding around him, with one hand trailing hounds and darkness, the other drawing blood ... and that innocent little image in the corner of the pond where he saw her bathing (i'm guessing?) and artemis's moonlight.

I like this one! I like tha tmyth, too. X3 Nice antlers. very nice compositio. Your pieces have a kind of flow and pattern to them. I like teh dogs in the bg. God, your styles' the best thing ever. i love th esubdued, shiny colors. Wah, your pieces have such a feeling to them. So sad.

Ahhh yes. Artemis was kinda scary like that. I mean, really.. having a guy ripped apart by his own dogs because he saw her naked ... *shakes head* She's creative in her scariness I'll give her that much.
I love the tones used in this piece, the style used, and the composition.. I'd love to get in to details about EVERYTHING that I love about it, however my brain just doesn't want to function this morning. ;_; Oh well.. +fav.

Artemis is a pretty scary virgin, but let's all be thankful that it wasn't Hecate who the poor shmuck saw. That moon goddess probably has worse up her sleeve.
