Description
Inspired on a certain level by the ethereal song "Houwa" ("Saturation"), which you can find on the "All About Lily Chou-Chou" soundtrack. I adore Salyu's vocals probably more than any J-Pop singer out there.
The words reach "Houwa e no iriguchi", or "entrance to saturation". It's part of a bigger, line though:i miss you, i miss you
anata no kuchibiru ni chikazuite shimatta
ato ichi-miri ni aru houwa e no iriguchi
[i miss you, i miss you
your lips came close
one more milimetre and saturation is opened]
(Forgive me if it's not that correct, folks)

I found this link in your Lilyphila post and I really like your artworks so much because theyre beyond gorgeous! Gee I envy you, your artworks seem to be even more ethereal than the film itself (considering how much I really love All about Lily Chou-Chou, Im a die hard fan ^_^
I made a little drawing of Shiori Tsuda from the film but that childish doodling I created wouldnt come near comparing yours hehehe.
You should make a series of All about Lily Chou Chou artworks and then compile them into a calendar series!!!

Really gorgeous, I think that the mono0chromatic blue and all of those light flecks give this a very watery, tranquil appearance. Really gorgeous and great discipline with watercolor!

Did you put the pen on before the water color, or after?

Gel pen dissolves in water, so I put it on after the paint is dry (or, in some cases, semi-dry). Gives it a nice glowy effect, don't you think.
