I created this piece for 's Deep Blue contest. Definitely check it out - they have contests every month with great artists who participate.So for this piece, I really wanted to capture the different colors of the ocean - I used to live in Florida actually, and I always remember how much brighter and more colorful it was underwater than on land. Hopefully I was able to capture that in the painting.
Definitely let me know what you guys think!! I'm thinking of making this into a full zodiac series. I did use a reference for the koi on the right side: cdn.sheknows.com/articles/koi-…
