A few days ago I mentioned that my family's pet squirrel 'Colonel Clink' died, we found out the next day that the Colonel was a female, and a mother at that. Four babies slowly emerged from their nest in search for food, and damn they are cute.This is one of many photos I took of them. This little guy was the bravest of them. I sat and played with the for quite awhile. We released them deeper into the woods yesterday, they were all eating and were searching for food, so I think they'll be ok.

reminds me last summer my friend notices some baby sqirrels wandering around her house and noticed thier nest was topled over so they took in the squirrels....
some didn't make it, but the others are thriving little felllas, it's was amaizing to feed them and be so close to such a timid animal ^_^
