Oh, panel four btw was mostly just to quickly show Charlie changing the blankets she had stained with coffee a couple days back, last night she had slept in the sofa, I don't think people would have been pissed at me not showing that but I like to keep some consistency :>
As I mentioned in page 52 I'll be making a journal later on regarding certain thoughts on the updates taking such a long time, though I gotta reply some messages first, stay tuned o:

I asked some people if it'd be better to do it page by page but not much came out of that conversation, and anyway, sometimes the characters are just moving from one place to another in a page and not much happens, which I feel would be kind of a boring update.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I know a lot of webcomic type things usually have the writers struggling to make the updates like... both flow well together for the larger story, and also still work well as individual pages.

Well this is a bit awkward
Just in case you decide to play it one day, I won't spoil, but just to let you know, one of the main character say "Nyehehe" when he laugh, and this is one of the main aspects of his personality.

Well the only time I've seen a stare down similar to that was early Naruto between Naruto and Sasuke but straight off the bat I know that isn't the reference as in Naruto they were both scowling at each other while Vale is smirking in this.

Yup, in the source the characters pretty much have the same expressions, pose and even that little line connecting their eyes.
I don't recall that Naruto stare you mention though.

I was gonna say Nancy or Henry because those are the only ones I can think of that consistently use that dashed line thing to indicate character gaze, but neither are comics where there's a lot of intense stare-offs...

What is Charlie doing in the first panel? Checking her coat for what, exactly?
And is it just me, or does she look different from usual? Her face looks somewhat... off in regards to what we've seen before.

She has shrunk, her clothes may not fit the same now.
I guess it'd have been better to have her take the lower part of the jacket with both hands.
