a lonely creature full of pain and joy, the eater of memories,
a quiet soul, the one who caused and stopped your bleeding,
bringer of tears, peace, fear, and laughter after the war ~

hey hey, i'm back ! and to celebrate, i finally get to post my precious giant, dódeka ♥
i'd say he first appeared in my sketchbook over year ago, followed by dozens of drawings and concepts,
the fullbody in this reference is also at least a year old now, but i've been tweaking and developing him ever since !

he is probably my favourite thing to draw too, the shapes and anatomy are just so fun (especially for stylized drawings)
i've always wanted to create a being that doesn't look like any one animal, but has this unique aura and feels almost dragon-esque,
of course you can see the reference to cervids there, but i like his face especially - it's strangely human, emotive, but at the same time not ? aha,
makes for some interesting illustrations as you will see in my future art hopefully ! there's a lot of background & lore i'm excited to share too ~

you may have seen glimpses of him already actually ! as part of my inktober series last year, here ~
but i'm so happy to finally post a full reference ! there's lots more info that i could't fit on it too though ;
