Is this taken on a road near Star by any chance?

What I love about mist is that they are able to look so mysterious yet enchanting at the same time! Too bad I never seen such scenery with my own eyes. That's why I admire photographers who can capture beautiful moments like this! Congratulations!

That's pretty much what I love about it too, though quite often you do have to get up pretty early to see conditions like this... I'm pleased you like it, thanks!

That's why. I'm not a morning person at all.
You're welcome!

I'd end up destroying all those alarm clocks though.

I once did that very thing actually... my sister thoughtfully got me a football-shaped throwable alarm clock a few birthdays ago.. started off by throwing it lightly so as not to break it and the bloody thing wouldn't shut up so I'd have to get out of bed anyway! ... ended up adapting by throwing it progressively harder until the inevitable happened

Hahaha! Aren't you lucky to have a considerate sister! After a bit of a search on google...I really want one now.

haha! absolutely man, done deal, I love your stuff! .. just had a thought come into my head if you're serious though - we could do a print swap

A print swap? What image do you have in mind?

Meowgli In reply to Stridsberg [2010-11-03 11:08:28 +0000 UTC]
yeah, it's just a suggestion but if you were down for it we could.. say a straight 12x8 swap or something like that.. but no pressure. jeez, choosing the image would be tricky, so many great works to go from! let me know if you're up for it and I'll pick something out, struggling already to choose!

Yeah sure i would love that! Although...i think i rather have yours in at least 16x12 or something...and it needs to be signed by you since iΒ΄m gonna hang it in my studio.

sounds good to me! this shot is a 3:2 so I reckon an 18x12 might be the one unless you wanted to go bigger? seriously man I'm flattered to think of one of my images in your studio, what with having been a fan of your work for so long! as soon as I get my small studio space sorted you can be sure your image will take pride of place on the wall too
I've got quite a few expenses to account for at the moment so maybe we could put this on pause and do it early in the new year?

Sounds like a great plan to me considering iΒ΄m just in the middle of setting up a new home for me and my family...not to mention all the x-mas gifts i gotta get the little ones. Just give me a holler once youΒ΄re ready for the transaction.
Safest way to get a hold of me is by email: andreas.stridsberg@telia.com Unfortunatly i donΒ΄t browse DA nearly as much as i would like.
Take care and have a wonderful evening!

Wow aye sounds like you're a pretty busy man at the moment! I've added you into my Outlook and will be in touch at some point after Xmas/ in the new year. I'm on adam@adamedwardsphotography.com ... have a great festive season and I hope the house moving/decorating all goes smoothly!

That's BEAUTIFUL! And I love how you took a picture of the same place a few months later. It's nice to see the changes a scenery goes through as time passes

thank you! I'd love to make it a seasonscape (winter and spring still to do...) shame I don't live near there anymore
