Description
This is my remake of a Marvel Comics "The Ultimates" cover by Bryan Hitch. The picture struck me as the ultimate picture of the Norse thunder god, Thor; so I made it again in ink and fineliner, changing the modern super-hero accessoires into more traditional gear.Again I used rather outdated software (picture publisher 8 or so) for colouring and the finishing touches.

hope you don't mind but this piece gave me some inspiration to draw something similar to this.
good job on the contrast. not alot of people can balance the light and dark areas so well(I'm working on it myself)

This is the THOR Marvel needs to have, much better than the wingedman they use now. Very nice colors and reinterpretation.

Love this image. I get this mental image, this feeling that plays out like a scene in my mind, that the moment lightning flashes and he becomes visible, his enemies realize just how doomed they are. Great job.
