i know this isn't terribly impressive next to a lot of the stuff in the category, but this is the category that it belongs in, and i wanted to show my pals. wore this to both Transformers movies.

normally, i don't wear a dance top under it, but i happened to be wearing the dance top and just kinda threw the corset on over it... (and i know i should really have been standing up straight for the photo of the back, but i was a little tipsy at the time and having too much fun posing for pictures.)

a custom-made 9-panel corset-style top, based off i *think* a Simplicity pattern. flattened the front slightly to de-emphasize my disproportionate bust, taken in something like an inch in the back with a dart on each of the two center-back panels. zipper installed upside-down to prevent peeking. it's a little hard to tell from photos, but the beads are purple, blue, green, and bronze, and cycle in a pretty rainbow.

Optimus Prime centered in the front panel, Megatron on the right side, Bumblebee and his logo on the left, Autobot and Decepticon logos on the back-left-center. a happy little Megatron figure on the zipper-pull to help keep it zipped.

licensed cotton print exterior with hand-sewn beading on the front seams, satin-lined, with rigilene boning in the four front seams and the three back seams. i measured, pinned, and cut, Sarah did the assembly and tailoring for me (because she's MUCH faster at it than i am), i did the beading. planning to add more beading along the bottom front with cylinders.
