The first thing I must ask is this: WHY IS THIS THE ONLY PIECE OF SOUNDWAVE/SLIPSTREAM ART ON DA?!or at least the only one that I can find.
Seriously, I can't be the only one who's read
Transformers Animated: Cybertronian Genesis and Transformers Animated: The Mercy of Prime who loved these two to bits!
I mean, COME ON!
(If you by chance haven't read those fics but loved TFA, GO READ THEM NOW. They are EVERYTHING you could want in a sequel, and Darth T-Rex has fastastic writing in addition to interesting plots and true to form characterization. Seriously, I hold them as near canon in my mind. They're that fragging good.)
So, anyway, THESE TWO ARE ADORABLE TOGETHER.

Great artwork on this piece. However, I've read and loved those stories as well, but not this pairing. I was rather hoping that she'd end up with Cyclonus (she was flirting with him towards the end of Ch. 32 Restless Spark but sadly with no results).

For the record, I like this pairing, either as allies, or potential romance of some level appropriate to Decepticon warriors. But, in my head!canon Ratbat crushes on Slipstream (in a robot bat way).

thank you! I used some brushes on Opencanvas and just took a long time doing everything. -shrug- it was either watercolour brush 2 or the oil brush 1.

I've read Cybertronian Genesis and am still reading Mercy of Prime. That was one kickass fic! Don't worry, this won't be the only Soundwave/Slipstream pic. But first I'm working on the Jazz vs. Strika scene.

Well, I'm still excited for it, regardless. Heh, Scale seems to be a constant problem with anything transformers.
I'm not sure if I'll draw any more, to be honest. If I get inspired I may very well do so, But I just don't have much patience- I like my art to be like Jazz( the music, not the robot xD): meant to be created in the spirit of the moment. or something.
