It won't work for me no matter which colors I try to replace and how many times I try. I'm following the rules correctly; I keep going back and checking to see if it's right, But the newer colors that I chose don't show on the picture and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I clicked Copy Image on a picture of a Meloetta's sprite. I don't really know. But I will try again.

Well, do you use your mouse with your left hand, or right hand?

I have a Laptop mouse-pad thing. I am right-handed so I use my right hand.

Here is an epic story. Once apon a time, I didn't save the image. So I tried to make one again. And it WORKED. I was so amazed and happy. The end.

thank you for this It really helped me! I just have a question: For bases you need to add hair to (people, animals, etc...) what should you do? I tried copying and pasting, but with walking bases (Frame By Frame) it's extremely hard taking about 3 minutes per hair piece per frame, and usualy something gets messed up in the process anyways. Thanks

You mean adding hair on a kirby sprite? It's generally not a good idea to do a simple copy and past for hair...
Do you have a link to the sprite?

Sorry dude, never tried it with a mac, but I've heard paint.net is compatible with Mac. I'll try to do a tutorial.
