Description
I got a request for a tutorial on how to make simple animations using sprite sheets in Photoshop CS5. This method can also be used for animating other images.

I've created a basic set of actions that can be used to make the last few steps faster and easier. You can download them HERE .

Now, PS isn't ideal for animation. I know that. But these are simple, 8-bit sprites, and PS is one of the most popular programs, so it's handy to have the know-how when you don't feel like downloading new software.
