All the vectors used to make this were not made by me, but found at various places around the internet - mostly through Google searches and ponychan's /pic/ - and if anyone sees one they know they made and wants me to credit them they can message me and I will gladly do so.

EDIT:
At least 44 of these vectors were made by RilDraw: ([link] )
Many were also done by MaximillianVeers ([link] )
As well as many who submitted to the mlp-vectorclub ([link] )
And the Gummy vector was created by MisterLolrus: ([link] ) ([link] )

what would you call one that was a black hole, a white hole, a lightning storm, and diamonds? just want to see how it looked and it would probably be "Powerful Recluse/Hermit".

So if we put "Discord-238", which has a half-life of 4,5 billion years... in a nuclear reactor and it send out α-rays: "Magic" and the more dangerous β-particles, which are the mana around the atoms, it'll someday be "peanut Butter-206"?

Laughter is an heavier element than Loyalty ? Shouldn't they be inverted ?
I mean... clearly 'laughter' is a much lighter element and Loyalty.

Mmh... speaking of 'weight'... Isn't 'Honesty' a thing much heavier to go around (to deal with) than ' Kindness' ?

JKANEH In reply to ??? [2012-03-15 06:19:37 +0000 UTC]

um wouldnt it make more sense if the mane six's elements werent the noble gasses? they generally dont react with other elements so i could see Twilight being there, but the rest seem to have other friends and/or aquaintences who they interact with often, i could put them as more reactive elements? other then that seems pretty freakin awesome

suicidalconsepts In reply to JKANEH [2012-03-15 17:55:16 +0000 UTC]

they all react with the element of discord...except kindness, it only reacts with kindness when forced under laboratory conditions..

The element of Creation (also known as Faustium) is crucial in harmonic reactions. Heavy enriched isotopes such as Trolling-161 and Discord-235, with an initial excitation, can cause a mana fission cycle to break down those more volatile and unsafe elements into more stable and cherished ones through a chain reaction, breeding Fa molecules that will continually collide, recombine, and eject from these elements and convert them to a more "constructive" use. It's a win-win, since we can ALSO extract energy from these fission cycles. Scientists now are discovering how to employ the physics of friendship to bring a new era of sustainable and safe power generation for all of Equestria!

CommandoDude [2012-03-15 04:45:44 +0000 UTC]

Eh, could use some work. Like...the first row, none of the elements are related to each other, same with the second. It's sort of a big thing in the real periodic table.

I see that Discord is element 92...Lol

TheBakaTrio [2012-03-15 04:14:52 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm awesome idea. But aren't some of the "elements" more disharmonic than harmonic? (For example Vanity, Discord, Greed)

Section-Eight [2012-03-15 04:05:32 +0000 UTC]

Oh, and it is reassuring to see that Harmony is the most common element in the universe.

So if this works like the regular table, does that mean that if dubsteb (Vinyl/Fluorine) and music/song (whomever that is/Francium) are ever mixed together, there will be some sort of catastrophic explosion? And that Photo Finish is liquid at room temperature?

Let's see how far we can take this...

Silver spoons would indeed be fairly ductile and (I seem to recall) good conductors like copper, and I suppose Mischief (Zinc) could be considered an essential vitamin.

Princess Luna is certainly unstable under most conditions, but probably would act as a potent tranquilizer if licked.

Twilight Sparkle's brother (Chivalry, right?) apparently explodes when wet.

In what is probably welcome news to dieters everywhere, this chart suggests that consumption of Pie (Calcium) builds strong bones. It also implies that certain varieties of pie could be used on chalkboards, but that could get rather messy.

Expensive cars apparently have Love-wheels, which do indeed burn hot and bright upon ignition.

Charisma is an essential part of pencils, while computer chips are composed of loving Care (which should mitigate against any potential robopocalypes).

Polonium-flavoured toothpaste would be a very bad idea.

Plants exhale music and inhale charismatic music.

Lyra smells like rotten eggs.

Big Macintosh turns potatoes purple.

Fluttershy will kill you (EEP!).

Rarity is from Krypton (!).

Missed a perfect opportunity with Argon ("the lazy one") for Rainbow Dash.

And too much Twilight will make your voice squeaky.

musicssound In reply to diethnis [2012-03-15 04:03:13 +0000 UTC]

Lily. Due to episode "Applebuck Season": (During the bunnypocalypse.)
Twilight Sparkle walks towards the town square, but is stopped and slightly shocked by a few ponies passed out on the ground. They proceed to wake up and exclaim things.
Lily: "The horror! The horror!"
Twilight looks around, but fails to see anything unusual.
TS: "I don't get it."
And on.

Those are on 57-71
The bad ones are on 89-103

They're displayed like that on the proper table of elements because they're all supposed to be on the same row and column. (Which mean something important, can't remember what though)

munchforlunch [2012-03-15 01:48:15 +0000 UTC]

I like it, but as a science major certain things really bug me. New names for elements is awesome, and this is a cool idea, but why is Ni element #4? Why is Ca #14? If you have an abbreviation that matches a known element, why not match them up?

This would rearrange quite a large number of elements, but it would probably appeal to the science crowd even more.
