As soon as I saw Queen Chrysalis, I knew we had a real Neutral Evil villain. So, being the nerd I am, I made an alignment chart that features her.Now someone go make a monster for her. I wanna use her in a campaign.

Okay, the entire evil row is wrong.
Nightmare Moon: Tried to take over Equestria, but would have actually killed off everything (No sun=no plants=no food) for her own selfish desires and revenge. Chaotic evil.
Queen Chrysalis: Changelings feed off love. She invaded Equestria to feed her children (Too bad she didn't know she could've gotten it peacefully just by moving in). Seriously, she is a good mother that would do anything to protect her children, even invade a country. Lawful evil, lawful neutral, or chaotic good would fit her.
Discord: He's just having fun. He had no evil intentions, he just didn't care how his fun affected others. The elements of harmony couldn't purify him, like they did with NM and Sunset Shimmer, because he wasn't evil. Chaotic neutral.

Eh, I think discord would be more of a chaotic neutral. He never really does many inherently bad things, so he really doesn't go down in my book as evil. He's more just in self preservation, which is pretty neutral.

no. in this chaotic and lawful are opposites, while good and evil are opposites. for lawful to touch chaotic in this chart it would have to be in the place of evil. which is wrong, as chaos is not inherently evil. one must look at it like this: in music if there was naught but the most orderly (perfect) notes, then music would not be. instead one uses all the notes, together, to make beauty. the same is true of life: if you life in perfect order and never have one moment of chaos, you live like a machine, and life becomes a dull boring monotonous blur; however, with a dash of discord ones life becomes more interesting. and it doesn't have to be bad, just unexpected. after all, suprise parties are rather fun, and and that suprise is certainly not expected.

Honestly I think discord should be chaotic neutral because he didnt do anything for pure evil he juat saw it as one big game and did damn well.

But that's just in his nature he was created that way he can never change nightmare moon took sides against the mane characters because she was evil and acted evilly discord is the embodiment of chaos which has no sides just wreaks havoc on anyone nightmare moon tried to kill them discord made the world screwy but did not try to kill anypony.

Chaos means being free, going with the flow. Being chaotic usually means being silly and not usually taking things seriously.

Yes, also it may mean, that you can play good being chaotic, and also play at least in 100% Lawful/neutral in other 46% being chaotic, isn't that?

I'd actually consider the dragon to be true neutral. All he cares about is his hoard, nothing more, nothing less. The world could burn or continue for 1000 years in a state of Utopia, he doesn't care. As long as he has his hoard, he's happy.

I was actually trying to reference dragons in general, basing off how they seemed to me in Dragon Quest. I just like how that specific dragon roared, and his quote seemed dragon-y. Guess I should have clarified that a bit.

Interesting choices for some of them. I could definitely see Chrysalis as Neutral Evil. I'd argue that Twi's more lawful than neutral though, and Pinkie seems the obvious choice to exemplify Chaotic Good.

I chose Twilight for neutral due to her season 2 episodes being mostly about her going crazy. I feel we got to see a little chaotic side of her in that context that balances out the lawful. I see where you're coming from, though.
And as far as Pinkie goes, I wanted to do an alignment chart that had minimal amounts of Mane 6 since the ones I've seen are pretty much all Mane 6. I thought Luna was a good substitute.

Yeah, she definitely wasn't rational or logical. But I still felt that her going crazy was largely a result of her misguided attempts to very strictly follow the letter of the law.
I suppose that most other charts I've seen do have a lot of the Mane 6, so avoiding them has made yours more unique.
