Ok people, this is my first TUTORIAL!!!Well, no one exactly asked for this but Heck i thought people wud want to know how to make these iPod ad sorta images. I think they're quite cool

Can you do this on paint.net? I've been trying but when I get to step 5 I get confused on how to turn my render/picture black. Help?

So i followed your tutorial and i ended up having quite a nice picture, however with most of my subjects i had trouble having a decent outline of it, it was always slightly jagged or off, not as smooth as yours are. any tips?

If you are using photoshop then click on the "Refine Edge" box after you have made a selection of your character/subject. This will have options which will allow you to make your selection much smoother and better.

To merge two layers together select both the layers and press Ctrl+E.

quick question when you uploaded "istab" did you upload it into a JPEG format or the PSD format?

I usually upload my images in jpeg or .png
