I LOVE this design. It's true to the original concepts, but not hidebound to 60s aesthetics. I am a fan of the series, but that aside, seeing this ship come out of warp and meet Discovery... I was moved. She's beautiful, as she should be. Gorgeous take!

Awesome as always.
I am not a Discovery fan, but I am digging this version of the Enterprise they put out.
I hope it is not too much to ask, but might we see an OBJ or Poser version?

Seeing this I am so curious what would a DISCO version of the TMP Enterprise would look like.

Looking at this design, I think that it was intended to make the TMP refit feel more plausible (since the procedure to get the TMP refit from the TOS Enterprise seems to have been, "throw away the nacelles. Now throw away the pylons. Now throw away the engineering hull. Now throw away the neck. And now throw away the saucer, too." Did Starfleet have a shortage of funds to build new ships in the early 2270s?

Very nice model, and kudos on a job well done.
As for the design of the ship.....windows on the bridge is akin to a screen door on a submarine.

Very nice.
I will admit this is on me, but I just now figured out that the hull plating texture is a specular not a diffuse. No wonder it looked so strangely when I exported it to Lightwave.
