I was trying to remix some models on thingiverse and you were listed as the original source for the models so I came over here to check them out.... WOW!Β You've done some incredible work over the years!Β Thanks for both for creating these models and especially for putting them up as free downloads.Β

I like this very much. It would have been great (the ship - less convinced they could have brought the series round)

THIS IS THE DAMNED MISSING LINK. This is the ship that needed to be seen.
It's a pity Enterprise failed miserably. That series could've done so much. Looking back you can almost see where they were going, but alas, hindsight is 20/20.

Admiral: Nice work on the refit, boys.
Engineer 1: Than you, ma'am!
Engineer 2: It was hard work, ma'am, but we got it done!
Admiral! You're a credit to the Fleet, you two! Just, one question... why are there two navigational deflectors?
Engineer 1: Oh, well, you see, if one breaks down, there's always a second one-
Engineer 2: Wait, I thought one was for HBO and the other for Discovery HD?
Engineer 1: *SMACK* A secondΒ one in case the first breaks! Also, navdevs are useful for a whole lot of other things...
Admiral: Uh-huh. Such as?
Engineer 2: Well, the narrow design of the top one allows it to tune to-
Engineer 1: *SMACK* The frequencies of pulsars! For science!
Admiral: Excellent. But can the ship pick up E! entertainment news?
Engineer 1: Uh...
Engineer 2: Accurate to within a thousand channels, ma'am!

Yupp. Doug Drexler desinged it himself.
