Description

This Demotivational (one of the few that I will do on this subject) is based on the fact that decades ago,
there use to be Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons on the Disney Networks.

the one I remember most is 'Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog' ("AOSTH")
which was on Toon Disney at the time that the 'Disney Afternoon' programming block was popular.

(AND, just recently, 'Sonic Underground' was part of Disney XD
making it the SECOND Classic Sonic cartoon to be on a Disney Channel.)

Now Sonic Boom is coming out..which is due to premier on Cartoon Network.
and, all things considered, I can't help but wonder WHICH Network Sonic prefers working at.

It's sad but true.

The only reason to watch Cartoon Network anymore is for Toonami and Steven Universe these days, since they cancelled all the other good shows like Beware the Batman and Young Justice.

TWICE, Actually.

'Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog' (or, AoSTH) aired on then "Toon Disney" for quite some time.
and, 'Sonic Underground' recently aired on Disney XD for awhile.

Better make that four times, since he's made cameo appearances in both Wreck-It Ralph movies.

Is it wrong to say that I prefer the new show over something like AoStH? I mean, the "Boom" show at least made me chuckle, unlike the older show which was just annoying and obnoxious 90's humor mixed with repetitive slapstick. I would've considered it to be just as bad as that failed "Bubsy" pilot, had it not been for the show's only saving-grace: AoStH Robotnik.

Overall, "Boom" may not be as engaging as SatAM or "Underground" (yeah, I'm a fan), but I already prefer it over AoStH and "X". If anything, it'll probably be on par with the OVA in terms of overall reception.

What's bad in Cartoon Network? Those cartoons are best today...

The best CN had was Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, and Samurai Jack.
and, later, newer shows like Foster's Home, Kids Next Door, and Billy and Mandy.

But, the most recent shows like Adventure Time, Gumball, and..whatever that one show is with the Jaybird and the Raccoon,
are quite clearly plotless, unintelligent shows aimed for unintelligent viewers (no offense to you, if you actually LIKE these shows.)

Plus, CN has this knack for cancelling some really good shows for no apparent reason (Young Justice, Beware the Batman, Green Lantern.)

Ask anybody "What's Wrong with Cartoon Network", and they'll give you a list that'll be PAGES Long (some even with swear words. I'm the "nicest" critic that you'll ever find, really.)

Adventure Time is plotless?!
Adventure Time is amazing, there is amazing story, and some kind of common plot. Recently, Finn lost his arm, and now he has a mechanic arm! There are really plot evolving!
Gumball is amazing too in artistic point of view. Because most of characters are drawn in different types. Be it the flash animation, Puppet, sketch and even realistic.
Regular Show is amazing because it has an ADULT humor.

Tails thinks it won't be so bad.

Or he's saying: "We should have at least gone to Nickelodeon." xD

He should have made a pitch to Disney about a return when they payed him for his cameos on Wreck-It Ralph.

Oh, WOW! I'd almost forgotten about that! Yet another Disney Production in which Sonic appeared.

Sonic ought to do lunch with Mickey, and discuss things.
they are both rodents, and mascots..I'm sure they could work something out.

Ah, so Sonic Boom is supposed to be a TV show? I thought it was going to be a videogame...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MetroXLR In reply to PurfectPrincessGirl [2014-10-24 17:11:21 +0000 UTC]

Technically, that is also correct. There are TWO Sonic Boom games to be released..
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the "Wii U", and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for the "Nintendo 3DS"

BOTH of which are meant to promote the new Cartoon Network TV Series.
so, the games are more or less a commercial to get fans interested in the series, and boost rating by the time it premiers.
