Sweet Jesus, after nearly 2 weeks of procrastination, I'm finally finished.

Well, then... this is my contest entry for ~AdmirateursDeLuciole which I've been whining about for days on end. It's for =luciole who's been one of my favorite artists for about a year now. I decided to enter the contest to win the very last copy of her artbook which I would've gotten earlier if my poor card wasn't maxed by a certain someone during the holidays. <_<; (Speaking of artbooks, I'm curious as to whether or not my aunt recieved my copy of *toounit 's artbook yet. I have to ask her about that.) Anyway... I've been waiting for an artbook from her to come out for months now, but sadly after I missed my chance to actually buy one, I joined the contest in desperation. Only problem is, I apparently have competition, and my entry is just utter crap compared to some other competitors' works I've seen. And it's utter crap to begin with. D: Well, here's some important little tidbits I need to add. (LOL I SAID TIDBITS. LOL.)

-The mix & match for this entry is I. Caer, II. Beauty and Elegance, III. Decor. (This part is pretty much crucial for the entry. The rest is miscellaneous.)
-The character I drew here is =luciole 's Caer. She has a very unique and sad story to her, plus I really liked her designs. For references I used for the drawing, I just looked at these: [link] [link] :thumb26395393:
-My scanner chopped off the top half of the piece so my signature is no longer visible. D: Sorry, guys, especially my mom. :<

Eh, I seem to have a little love/hate thing with the outcome. I'm the least bit proud of it, but in a way I can't stand looking at it. The original looks so much better. x_x I decided to use the special way of scanning it (using a different program that doesn't eat the colors up) and it turned out too contrastey. Turns out when I edited it, I didn't get the result I actually wanted. Oh well... enjoy, or at least try your best to. :<

MATERIALS USED: Copic black multiliner .01, .005 (I think), Micron brown 05, Copic markers, opaque white calligraphy ink, white charcoal Prismacolor pencil, silver and gold ink, all done on 8.5x11" bristol board.

EDIT: Rescanned the image, it isn't showing up right now, but it's 750 pxs in height, my sig is showing, and the colors are semi-improved. I hope it's better now...
