I've been submitting quite a bit of sketchwork to Facebook so I figure I might as well put my really good pieces up here.This was just a class doodle-turned-actually decent looking thing that I drew earlier today. The figure and the lighting are pretty Frank Frazetta-inspired if anything. I've also had an obsession with octopi lately so I draw them pretty often nowadays. I think they're my new favorite animal and have taken precedence over gy-raffes.
Would've definitely made the tentacles longer if I didn't run out of paper. ><I also apologize that the finish looks kind of shitty. The good scanners at the lab are all taken and I have to move on to some real classwork so I can't retool this more. Enjoy though!
MATERIALS USED: Ballpoint pen (black ink) on sketchbook paper.
