Description
Illustration assignment; to illustrate a proverb from a list. This one is "keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps a singing bird will come." Since the proverb is Chinese I added a few elements of Chinese art inspiration into it.

I really miss drawing things like this, and I will as soon as I recover from what a not-so-great semester I've been having. This is probably the second assignment where I've used Copics for the thing and it makes me realize how desperately a good chunk of my markers need to be replaced or refilled. ><
