Description
Sorry for submitting twice in one day and acting like a loser.Yep, well, I'm using my Copics a lot more than my other markers now, and I think it's something I should be proud of, I guess. I took the time to organize them and spread them out on my coffee table and shoot a picture of them out of boredom. Like someone in the art scene forum once said, Copics are an artist's greatest treasure. Plus it's great when you have tons of them. I don't have tons per se, but I have quite a few if you compare my current situation to the point in time where I was once dying to own just one stinkin' Copic because I had no clue where they were sold and for how much, plus the price range was beyond my reach until I recieved my first set when I was 13 and they started selling them at an art store not too far from my area.
So, here's my stats: Pictured are all the alive markers that I have, plus my collection of multiliners. 94 markers total, not including doubles of certain colors and dead markers. If I include doubles and dead ones, I'd definetly have well over 100. Plus I have 9 multiliners; they're becoming much more reloable than Microns IMHO, although I can only find black ones. D:
How do I afford all this? Well, I'm probably one of the only kids in the world these days that still has per family buy her things. :0 My aunt bought me some, my dad gives me allowance money that I use to buy some, and my aunt bought me some from my old set, and some markers here are actually from that set, and I got about 3 as a birthday gift from a friend. The multiliners came in a set, except for my 0.3 which I bought at a store... it's actually dead and it's replacing the 0.3 from the set that I misplaced at the time. The only other Copic products I own are a sketchbook and a bleedproof pad. I'd kill for some manga paper and an airbrush though. :<
Once again, I apoligize for submitting once again. This might just be scrapped. See yas.

I've recently started using Copic marker paper (you can find it here: [link] ) It has minimal tooth to it and it's thin, almost translucent, and brings the vibrancy of the colors out, but since it's not really absorbent the colors don't blend too easily and the color sometimes has to be pushed around. What I used to use was bristol board which was really thick, and very absorbent, but it has a tendency to make ink bleed.

Not sure if you're interested at all (your collection is probably full by now!) but I bought a full set (all 322 markers) for really cheap (cheap for copics) from carpediemstore.com around convention times, they sell 'em real cheap.
I got all of 'em for 50% off, and they have multiliners in multiple colors too, though not the refillable ones.
They are having some sort of a sale on Copic stuff right now. This site's normal price is 4.46 a marker instead of the normal 6 bucks, if they're on sale beyond that, better hurry! MARKER TIME!

My aunt bought my first set for me on Dick Blick, my mom bought me a huge set, there's an art store in NYC that sells like a billion different colors (only I rarely go there...) and my favorite art store sells them, although a lot of people have been buying them so their variety is really small. A lot of the money spent isn't my own, haha.
If you have a Pearl Paints or anything near you, you might want to see if they have any in stock, and Dick Blick sells them for a pretty good price..

Hello, you say you dont' have a ton... But add the cost of all those and suddenly, you do XD
ahhhh so much D:
A lot of people were asking where you could get them... I found a website that had it where you could get multiple ones for a good price.
Like you can get 12 (custom picked, in grays, or in a package of popular colors) for only just over $50
If you buy them anywhere else I've seen 12 is around $70
the site is here
[link]
and they also have all the different types of copic markers. Ink refils, cases to carry them, air brushes that atach to the marker... and scetch books.
oh and Copic How to Draw books...

A good online store to consider is [link]
They have a sale going right now for the whole year: major discounts for returning Copic customers, so I've been on a shopping spree like crazy!
Just have to factor in shipping coz they're on the opposite coast for me

Well, they do die eventually, especially when you have no refill ink at your disposal, which is what my case is.
