Description
Stamp template from [link] and star background from this photo: [link]This is pretty much inspired by the newsletter at dailycommonsense.com. The website is run by someone whose goal is to disprove all the 2012 theories out there using the most valid evidence possible. (see article: "2012- Why It Shouldn't Be Feared) After researching for over a year and reading his newsletter, I've come to realize that 2012 has become a HUGE cash cow.
It's become a tool to instill fear in the general public, and I'm really sick of all this apocalypse crap. I tend to be a realist. Of course, I do believe that unfortunate events will occur leading up to and on that day, but it's due to the course that humans have decided to take as a result of global warming, wars, etc. Everything about galactic alignment/pole shifting/planet X is pretty much all fake, and numerology and Nostradamus are invalid arguments.
My prediction for 2012? People are going to purchase a surplus of food/water, they're going to huddle in a room with their families until the time comes on that date, and after 11:11 passes, we'll SEE THE BIG ASTEROID WHICH WON'T HIT US, and then... nothing. I think it's going to be the start of a new revolution, to be totally honest.

Actually what the public made up about it was false, as 2012 actually is marking the end of the Age of Pieces and start of the Age of Aquarious. Christards lied trying to create fear so they could scam more money out of people's pockets as typical and pathetic as they always are..

I just thought of something. A lot of these 2012 people went into underground bunkers, right? And in the process they cut off all communication with the rest of the world. How will they even know the world didn't end?? That absolutely nothing happened?
I can just see some poor soul in like 30 years coming out and seeing that the world is still around. Imagine what that person must be thinking, realizing he/she spent the last 30 years underground!

I wonder if the Mayans really did finish there calendar, but that we misunderstood it as the end of the world would be Dec. 21 2012. Perhaps it really said the world would end in Dec. of 2112. That would give us at least another hundred years on earth. These are my thoughts on " doomsday ".

I think this is appropriate now that it is Dec. 21, 2012 in most of the world:
"It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
And I feel fine."
C'mon, surely you saw that coming!!

That's part of the plot on "The X-Files." Except the aliens come to colonize earth and enslave us. XD Their invasion was set for Dec. 21, 2012... which for some dumb reason they told the Mayans and other people about in the past. Not much for surprise attacks, are they?
Apparently some people actually believed it was true. They really shouldn't watch those type of shows, huh?
On a related note, "The X-Files" was a good series; too bad it had such a terrible ending.

Them as a major empire did. That probably felt like the end of the world for them... which means they were off by like 500 or 600 years.
Remind me why present-day people listened to them in the first place.

That's funny, 'cause I seem to be living in 2012 right now. It'd be a shame if an entire year is a lie...

When the so-called 'End of the World' comes, I will quote charlie the unicorn and go "HOORAY FOR THE COLLAPSE OF CIVILISATION!"
But yeah, there are many theories on how the world will end but most of them have logical explanations that tell they are not going to happen. Planet X for example, we would be able to see it with our naked eyes but the night sky hasn't really changed.

The first second I saw the trailer for the movie back in 2009, I snapped and had a hard time sleeping at night, that didn't help because of all the fear-eaters telling us that the world ending this year is true, now it's 2012, I don't believe in that crap, but stuff relating to the end time (Chemtrails, meteors, Nibiru) has covered the internet, and the people who fall for that crap are idiots
BTW:If you don't know what chemtrails are, they are these little fuel things from planes, and people think it's going to mutate us, if you think the human species is going to mutate this year, let me laugh at you

I always wanted to know, what makes you ( not referring to you but to the average ) and others so sure that nothing will happen. I mean yes, you probably would ask the same question from me when you will stop reading this, but I will answer it just so that I spear your time. I and many or few think that something will happen because we believe and hope in something which was taken from everyone, which is called Life and Hope. Maybe the Skeptics and the Realists say that we have Hope and Life, well, can you show it to me then what kind of Life do we have, and what kind of Hope will our children and their children will have if this keeps on going, this mentality? do you really think that this way of thinking will lead you to a happy, healthy and better life? I mean, think about it, What makes you ( again I refer to the average ) really sure that nothing will happen?

I may sound too realist for a bit, but think about the following: Mayas didn't count he years by the Julianus-calendar we use nowadays. Which means even if their prediction would be actually true, we would be already dead months ago.

Nestharon In reply to The-Syreth-Clan [2012-05-23 08:11:56 +0000 UTC]
The interesting thing is that there was never mentioned death, nor end. The idea of death came from those who fear death and need attention. I personally believe in a change or an awakening rather than the end. Because we really would need a little cleaning around her, on this planet.
Thank you for the comment

Saying 2012 is a hoax is one thing, but get your facts right about the mayans! They never predicted an apocalypse of any kind. in december 2012 the planets just align and the mayans, being the masters of time, knew this thousands of years ago through various calculations. Get Informed!
