I have found your tutorials really helpful in the past and this one seems to be no exception! New-comers to the joys of Apophysis are able to follow them, so I direct them here to help new artists get a feel for how the program runs.
Thank you for taking the time to craft these wonderful tutorials!

Awesome tutorial ^_^ When I get to step 3 though, the result is completely flat, not at all like figure 5... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...

mfcreative In reply to kawaiifaerie [2009-11-10 10:17:33 +0000 UTC]
When you did step 2, did you include bubble 0.5? this gives it a raise look. Also it's a good idea to move the transform around. Just grab the triangle and move it around. If this doesn't work I'm not sure what could be going wrong. Are you using Apophysis 3D? not Apophysis 2.08/2.09?
Hope this helps

I'm not sure what I'm messing up...when I create a new blank flame and edit those 3 variations my prievew screen is solid black...do you know what the problem is?

mfcreative In reply to Arakuto [2009-08-30 15:32:56 +0000 UTC]
Are you using Apophysis 3D hack? If so, you could try playing around with the colours and brightness to make sure that it is visable.

Arakuto In reply to mfcreative [2009-08-30 19:00:10 +0000 UTC]
yes, I'm using 3D, I don't think you can do this in normal..
unfortunately that didn't work...
π: 0 β©: 1
mfcreative In reply to Arakuto [2009-08-31 17:39:27 +0000 UTC]
I'm not too sure, normally it could be something with colour or brightness. The only thing I suggest is going through the tutorial again and seeing if that works.

Mabe you have a dark colour so the bubble isnt seen very eaisly
Try pressing Ctrl+n
untill the shape shows
