An unbelievable scene I stumbled upon - it truly took my breath away. This location was a pleasure to be at.. the sights, sounds, smells - I can't explain in words what it was like, you would have had to be there.Zion National Park - UT

Georgeous photo of Zion NP. I especially love the golden grass seems to glow in the afternoon sunshine and the orange rocks in the background are highlighted by the dark grey storm clouds. Wonderful shot. Thanks for sharing.

Where in Zion is this? I never get to spend as much time as I'd like there. And have never gotten to see very much. Next time I go I plan on spending a week or so hiking throughout the park.

This is really beautiful, quite stunning even. The way the sage just fills the field so evenly is remarkable and that's not even mentioning the rest of the landscape. The sky floating overhead with it's wide array of colors to that lone spire of rock looming in the distance are absolutely amazing.
But my absolute favorite thing about this is how the sun is positioned. What I mean is the way it shines onto one side of the rock formation and casts beams to the ground right next to it. Just a really great picture. Good Job.

I have been Zion before down in the canyon and hiked all the trails in one day, I must have gone through 5 gallons of water that day but it was worth it in the end, and this makes me want to go back and do it again.

My parents and myself were one of the first vehicles to enter the park that morning and one of the last to leave, we all thought we were going to die at the end of the day but be did it none the less

I actually didn't know there was anything other than the main canyon to be honest, but that was a long day and I don't think I have ever walked more in my life.
