Your wonderful photograph has been featured here:  Because We Live  On this day in history, October 24, 1945, the United Nations was born. Its purpose, to prevent the outbreak of another world war, or the evils that arose from the last one, should never be forgotten. It is easy, with so many problems in the world today, to get swept up in pessimism that things will only grow worse and worse until the end comes. We must remember that strong faith in God and His help in many small ways, along with our greater commitment to work together for the common good, helped us overcome the enemies of humanity in the last world war. How much we still have to appreciate, if we will turn our eyes toward hopeful things, and enjoy and celebrate the divinely-granted gifts of nature and of human creativity, with senseless acts of kindness and random acts of beauty! Have a blessed week, everyone! Don't forget to fave and maybe even submit someone for a DD today!
    Have a great week!  -Debra

Hey there! I've featured your gorgeous photograph in my most recent journal, titled "Nature Feature." I hope you enjoy looking through the photographs I've chosen. And I hope you don't mind that I have featured this photograph.

Thanks and have a good day!

You can find the journal here:
Nature FeatureI think I'm going to start doing features in my journals so that I can easily change them and link back to them for people. I don't know how often I'll be doing them, but I'm thinking once or twice a month. Or it might be completely random. Who knows, haha?
I can't decide whether I'd like to feature a few artists along with a few of my favourite pieces of theirs or if I'd like to just feature some pieces I love... with a general theme or not...? I just don't know. So maybe I'll give all of those ideas a try.
Alrighty, so I think I'll do it by theme today. Today's theme is...
Nature!
In all of her glory, featured by photographers on DA. Enjoy!

Been to Zion... one of the most striking things about it is the brilliant green of the plant life set against the coral/red rocks.... just breathtaking. I love this shot.

Wow, this is amazing! The whole feel of the picture really takes you there, and you can almost hear the echo of the water yourself just looking at this, the color of the rocks and water are strikingly different, and really bring out the sense of nature in it's untamed form. Excellent photography!

this is really cool, I like it a lot.. the balance to the compo and the flow is very nice... one thing, I think if you can it would be good to try and rescue the slightly overexposed highlight on the nearest bit of the "waterfall".. but yeah incredible textures in this shot!

What an interesting composition here. We 1 have the fall of the water going south-east and then we have the cliff there going north-west. Atleast that's how my eye is taken through the shot.

Great stuff mate!
