Description
The subway in Zion National Park has a lot of interesting water formations, these in particular caught my eye very quickly. The color inside these pools were incredible! For fine art prints, please visit michaeldalberti.com

Amazing - your shots look so much different then mine. What time of year did you go? So much water. Spring?

Such a breathtaking scene. I really love the cascading water and the designs in the lower pool of water. I think the colour contrast between the warm rocks, warm lower pool and the cool water is fantastic too. So many textures captured there as well. Lastly, wonderfully composed with the curves of the water and rocky wall. My favourite of the series - I am glad you uploaded this.
PS Gonna put a link up to the video?

This is about as fas as you can go without fairly good climbing skills, the time of year is really not a factor. There are four max. Rappels, depending on the conditions, the longest about 30'. I've gone thru without having to rappel, but it is never a sure thing. Be prepared to keep you gear dry, there can be pools that require short floats.

hahaha thanks man. Yeah, it was such a sweet place. TONS of small waterfalls all up to the subway, the whole hike was fun.

haha well it was about an 11-12 mile hike and we did it in 8 hours (all day) - so yeah I took some time just to shoot the waterfalls going up to the subway. There's a huge cliff right next to the stream we followed so it was shaded the whole time allowing me to keep a long shutter speed for hours.
