Description
A commission for a new gothic magazine called "Arcane Octane", about Edgar Poe. I was commissioned for 3 drawings; The subject of this first drawing was "reflection of Poe in the eye of a raven". I used shadows so we can see both the complete raven and its eye's close-up. I hope that Poe looks more or less like the real one
Pen & ink, washed ink on paper (22cm x 28cm).

I took this a different way before I read your comment, which isnt a bad thing. I took it as if the raven were sitting at the top of the stares in a spooky house and at the bottom of the stair railing there was a glass ball that Edgar Allan Poe was reflecting in. Great work by the way.
