I love how you positioned the skeletons. Sad an touching. The elements seem to be considerate of their position
This a great piece, and composition.

One died in someone's arms. The other lying on a cold stone.

. . . I am not used to your pictures being more touching and melancholy than creepy - a very nice change! And with your usual gorgeous attention to detail.

This is odd, but the detail on the rocks and the little "dunes" is my favorite part, along with the dilapidated side of the boat! Awesome!

I looked at various shipwrecks pictures for reference but I don't think I saw this one... Pretty cool though!

I love pictures where there is an obvious story, but there are no hints at what the story might be. Stories that reminds us of the passing of time and that so many have walked these paths before, now forgotten.

Those skeletons fascinate me, I can see there's a whole story behind these two just from the way they're holding hands. So heartwarming and yet saddening at the same time
Plus, dat hole.

The grotesque details in the corpses and the gaping hole of the ship are amazing!

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
On the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy
